The Individual

We offer individuals a range of services including Coaching, Counselling and Just Support.  Our work with you is underpinned by a person centred philosophy.   We provide an integrated approach drawing on a range of theoretical and practice perspectives, including Cognitive and Cognitive Behavioural approaches, Jungian and Depth psychology, Positive Psychology, Expressive Arts and other experiential approaches such as Focusing and Life Span Integration. .


Coaching is a collaborative and structured approach to the attainment of specific goals. These can be personal or work related goals. This one to one service offers a ‘solution focused approach’ to goal achievement where the emphasis is less on diagnosis and analysis and more on creating solution pathways.  A range of tools is available and can be helpful in clarifying skills, strengths, and personality style.
A contract usually begins with an agreement to four or six sessions.  


We offer counselling to individuals who are looking for a broader and deeper shift in their perspectives. They may be experiencing difficulties in handling work or personal relationships. They may be having difficulty making an important transition. They may be seeking clarity about new directions and want to reinforce their self confidence in their strengths and abilities. 
After an ‘intake interview’ an agreement to four sessions is the norm. At the fourth session 

Just support

This unique one to one service offers a supportive presence by telephone or in person for the normal day to day struggles you encounter at home and work.  You may not want to burden your family, friends or colleagues with the latest frustrations but would benefit from a supportive listener. While this is not a counselling or coaching service it may from time to time involve constructive aspects of both.
